I just bought some commercial 5.45 tonight on the internet just because of this douche bag. I probably paid too much but decided I had better pick up a little bit in case there is some short term supply disruption getting the commercial stuff out of the Ukraine.
My modest stockpile of 7N6 is getting put up for a rainy day. Tonight on Gunbot - the price difference between 5.45 and 5.56 is now showing as about 11 cents a round.
Makes me want to punch somebody.
I predict he sells 5 guns and goes out of business. No one who knows anything about 5.45 will buy this from him, just on general principles.

I'm going to be opening a shop specializing in torches and pitchforks in order to defray the rising costs of commercial 5.45.
Maybe he'll also add the feature where you have to wear an e-bracelet to make it fire.

Hold on a sec ... Extar's website says the EXP-556 is chambered in 5.56/.223, not 5.45. I have found a number of posts indicating that folks have converted their EXP-556 to chamber the 5.45 round, but I haven't seen indication that they were originally manufactured that way.

Interesting. Anyone know if this pistol is legal in Maryland, in any caliber? I think I'd like one in 556, or anyone have one or an opinion?
