    The handguard is a little too short for my liking, but I understand that's how it has to be for the takedown portion to work.

    I will agree it's probably about 3" shorter than the factory hand guard. But it's needed for it to attach to the stock. I do really like the built in storage compartments and QD points.

    I like the 10/22 backpacker stock so I might try this one if the opportunity arises.

    Really wish Ruger brings out a PCC brace ready "pistol" in a format like the Charger. The backpacker stock looks cool though
