Here's where my latest build is:

    arincomplete.jpg

Colt 6920 upper (bought cheap as hell for a Colt upper!) on a POF billet lower. Daniel Defense "Omega" rail, RRA 2-stage trigger, and mil-spec buffer tube.

Ordered FDE furniture...Magpul CTR stock, MIAD grip, and ladder-style rail covers.

    Rock River Arms Entry Tactical

Rock River Arms 9mm - EOTech 512, Magpul CTR and rail panels, Tango Down VFG, I think that is a Yankee Hill Rail. This is registered as SBR, I want a TROS 3 lug barrel but haven't been able to find one in stock anywhere. When I get the short barrel, I'll put on the diopter iron sights and remove the EOTech and move it to the Entry Tactical.

Hopefully I'll have some YHM 4-rail hanguards on here in a little bit, but I love this rifle! I have had a couple extraction or double feeding issues, so it's either the USGI mags I have or I need the extractor buffer for the 11.5" barrels to help it out.

Squirrels--(or anyone that may know) is that considered an “AR Pistol”? I think it turned out great, but I was under the impression that if I did a build that ended looking like that it wouldn’t be legal in our great state. I was considering doing a SBR AR and then swapping the stock for a buffer tube ( who’s to say it isn’t a stock if it’s touching my shoulder?)

For it to be a pistol, it would have to be on a lower registered as a pistol when manufactured. He just doesn't have the stock yet.

If you go to the trouble of registering a SBR, put a stock and foregrip on it. Having these on a "pistol" make for a more controllable gun, but you cannot do it unless you register it as n AOW. The stock is a coveted feature on a pistol for most people because it gives the user more control over the pistol. If you spend $200 to SBR an AR, definitely keep the stock. The only reason they put buffer tubes on an AR pistol is because the have to.

Damn it, are you telling me I could have had a MDShooters logo engraved for free? I went plain because I couldn't think of anything to get engraved. He didn't have a MD flag already done.

Could you post a closeup? I may have to get another one. Best lowers you can find for $100 on sale.
