Look what showed up today! BRN-180s .223 Wylde pistol. Notice in the last picture that the Daniel Defense front sight has a cutout that allows you to see through the hole in the handguard for the gas block position indicator. The sights did not come with the upper. This thing is really nice.

I have both lengths and ordered the $129 lower. Love them.
Neither one like the Wolf steel cased ammo. Both run reliable after about 100 rounds and a good cleaning.

    That's sweet. Any range reports?

Last quote for shipping that I have heard was "this spring". I have pre-ordered from Brownells in the past and they have been reasonably fair with their estimates. At least by firearm industry's standards. LOL

I have been so busy that I have not been able to shoot mine.

Of course I fully expect and understand that this new lower receiver will probably be delayed due to the fact the whole country is a little behind schedule from this virus thing...

Still trying to be patiently waiting.

Latest estimate on the BRN-180 lower is end of May, first of June.

I'd really like to see a gen2 of these uppers with side-swappable non-reciprocating CH. Everything else about it seems pretty great.

Also will say from the height of the upper that Troy Micros might work really well as BUIS, and that the lower HK416 sight height standard might be the way to go on optics.

Got my new BRN-180 lower today. I think I am done fiddling with it for now.
