    My favorite pcc

    It’s in integrally suppressed ar9
    Spikes tactical brown recluse
With a Troy tomahawk pdw stock.

    Accurate, quiet and reliable.

It has a ported barrel to reduce standard ammo to subsonic velocity.

My 1995 Colt 6450 9mm carbine is a joy to shoot. Still accurate after many thousands of rounds and not a single part has been replaced. It's nice and light and ejects 124g like a mofo.

About five years ago I decided to get the newer model of the above, the Colt 6951 9mm carbine. It's used solely for pistol caliber carbine competitions since I could stick a red dot on and use my prescription glasses for my aging nearsighted eyes.

While not a carbine, the 9mm CZ Scorpion pistol with brace serves as an occasional unsanctioned competition match "PCC" although it's primary purpose is my bedside gun.

Finally, I have a box of 9mm AR9 parts (CMMG upper and lower) that I have yet to build for...something.

The Colts love Winchester 124g 9mm NATO, the CZ standard pressure 124g 9mm of just about anything.

Cross posting from the NFA porn thread, here’s my Scorpion Micro with its new friend, a JKA can. Get to try it this weekend.

Thus whole thing has held a strange fascination for me lately.

An SBR or a pistol would be most enticing.

Stay tuned. Outrider and I are working on adapting the CMMG RDB system to one of the MP5 mag lowers. Should work.

You have a can for that now? That’s AWESOME!!

I don't think I'm allowed to use it at the steel matches, though. So only for the worst of the back yard squirrels, or when my McCloskey moment happens. Want to look good for that. Need a pink polo shirt, but they're hard to find in my size :-)

A work in progress. Still have some internal upgrades and a muzzle device to add. Accuracy has be spot on thus far.

I need to take an updated pic, my final config with buttstock and sights/optics... but one of my form1 9mm builds along the way from a number of years ago. I have some 10, and 45acp on ddles lowers i need to snap pics of as well.

Finally got it put together with the after market parts I wanted. Have an old Vortex on top at the moment. Want to buy a prism scope for it though. Also need to track down some magazines.

Got in on a blem sale for the new Aero EPC (9mm /Glock mag)receiver sets, $195 with 10% off. The LRBHO is a wire linkage in the upper, pretty much the same design as the New Frontier set, and it works very well. Used a 5.25" Taccom barrel and short stroke bolt, 10oz kaw valley buffer, 308 carbine spring, radian handle/selector, Geissele GRF trigger and 9" MI SP handguard. Built it to run suppressed with a 3 lug adapter, have a 3 lug mount/extension tube coming to be able to shoot unsuppressed safely as the muzzle is about 4" shorter than the handguard. Test fired it, and really happy with the bolt/barrel/buffer setup, the Taccom barrel has a polished lower feed ramp, with a top ramp piece to keep the nose of the bullet from jamming above the chamber, and it seems to work great with HP or FMJ ammo. The bolt kit shortens the stroke to 2"(normally 3.75 in 5.56, 3" for most 9mm), and resets the hammer with less travel. Haven't used this bolt before, but after playing around for a couple mags, it GREATLY speeds up the action and has a lot less recoil and muzzle movement than a similar build with the same buffer setup, and the LRBHO still works 100%. It was a simple build, slap everything in and runs 100% with 0 need to tweak anything, compared to others I've built where the ejector usually needs a little adjustment and LRBHO linkages in the lower usually suck. I really like the Taccom setup, feels really close to the CMMG RDB system, maybe a hair sharper recoil and a little faster. Will probably get a 16" superfeed barrel in a 2nd upper to use it in PCC matches, feels that much better than the FM products build I have been using for the last few years.
