So I’ve had this rifle at my dads house for about 20 years and planned on bringing it home to Maryland. I’m not not really sure if it’s legal here and/or if it’s just a liability wherever it is. I want to replace the stock, it’s never had one. But looks like it should. Any ideas or suggestions?

Most of these replacements are flat back. Mine seems to have an angle at the rear of the upper. Normal?

    I agree. Replace the stock.

But find an old one rather than a new one.

    It'll look cooler.

I am assuming this is more of a display than a regular range gun. If it is regular range....then maybe spruce it up a bit. Never know when there there will be a Chechoslovakian in the lane next to you who would give you a hard time about how in Soviet Russian...rifle stocks were burned for warmth.
