I just recently bought a Remington 870 with what I thought was, based on a couple pictures, a black synthetic stock.

After getting to the shop and looking at the shotgun, I realized that someone had painted the wood stock and fore grip black

I will finish the stock when I get some spare time. I didn't figure this into the project. I wish I had taken some before and after pictures of the trigger assy and inside the receiver too.
