    Good catch(es)!
The Mark IV is getting harder to find these days; it is WW2-era.
They usually run at least $200-250 if you can find (a nice) one.
The Mark V in 10 ga is the most common and can pick them up for $50-100.

There should be a serial number visible when you open up the breach.
If it was military (Navy) it'll have a proof and probably a date also.
There's really not much info out there on these, I'll try to find my copy of article written on the Sedgley flare guns....

Don't no nuttin' about the Russian one.

The guy who I bought them from said he had thousands in his collection. Wonder if it’s the same guy...

So here is a pic. PT proof, dated 6-23-43

Awesome finds! I wouldn’t say the Russian was stolen at $100, I’ve seen them in better shape with pouch for $130. Emac had them at either Frederick or Howard shows.

I don’t know chit about the other one. Is it slam fire?

    . Is it slam fire?

The Sedgley is "striker fired" and double-action only.
It's a pretty simple setup, the big screw at the back of the frame is actually a plug, take that out and the assembly comes right out.
I thought I had some pictures of one I took apart but can't find 'em (or never took 'em).

The Russian/Polish/Czech ones you see for $130 are modern ones, not the WW2/Korea era which are seldom for sale, and usually busted and rusted.

I found the same pistol identified as Chinese (same markings and S/N very close), but I'm not sure about that.
    Regardless I wouldn't have hesitated at $100 either :)

Those Ru/Pol/Cz ones are getting up there in price these days too.
