I have always wanted to shoot a match a Peacemaker. Is the experience really that excellent to justify a $50 fee?

you'll have to judge that for yourself. it's the only place within a few hour radius where 3 gun matches go out to 500 yards. also 100+ yard courses of fire. shooters don't help set up or tear down. at worst, you're out $10-20 over other 3 gun matches in the area.

I always considered not having to setup or teardown as a big bonus. All I want to do is arrive, shoot, then leave. And BS with my friends during of course.

Hope to work my way back up into 3-gun sometime. Plan on starting out slow with the Thurmont 2-gun matches when the weather gets better and a lot of exercise on my repaired knee.
