Not sure this could be considered Maryland legal or I could justify $1700 but pretty cool. Great if you are facing a hoard of zombies or great white sharks. For the hard core collector!

How much do flare and smoke rounds for this usually cost?

Not cheap generally $2 to $3 each depending on source.

Ill be curious now that it has BATFE's "sort of ok" if there is an import run on these nad the market gets flooded in a couple months. If ok in MD (which I am not totally convinced) I would be in at around $800. $1700 is hard and they used to be around $2500.

That's not... horrible. I could see myself spending $50 every couple of months to shoot off some rounds, but I agree that the price of these would have to drop considerably in order for me to consider buying one.

Definitely the best deal so far. I back what the others have said on here in terms of price. The lowest I saw them going for was 2400 until this popped up. I would buy one for $1,700. As far as ammo for the thing, don't forget about American Specialty Ammo at Dulles. The 26.5mm rounds are cheaper and fly further than the 36mm rounds. No hazmat fee when you buy them face to face. They usually cut you a deal if you buy several boxes. Not to mention the "gun show price" they offer compared to their online price. Thanks for sharing! I am tempted!

Well this one is $1700 free shipping? When do we get a review?

hahaha.... Tempted and pulling the trigger are 2 different things. If they are still around at this price in a month, consider the review to be early September!

The Kentucky Gun Company has a 90 day lay-away plan. Pay 30% now, pay the rest within 90 days.

Yeah, I pulled the trigger to reserve one for myself. lol
