He I've been wanting to pick up a small bore muzzleloader for a long time, and think it's the time to finally get one. I've been searching the Internet looking for them, but haven't found many. I'm looking at .32, .36, or maybe even .40 cal. rifles. I'd prefer percussion ignition. Anybody got a lead on one that won't break the bank? Or if you have one any recommendations. I will also post something in the want to buy section.
    Thanks

Depends on how you define "break the bank". I'd try Gunbroker. Take your time, wait for what you really want. If you have decent woodworking skills, Dunlap Woodcrafts has some excellent kits. You can make precisely what you want.

    Thanks guys.
Mike, I guess what i meant by "not breaking the bank", was I looking for a cheap reproduction to see if it would be something I would really enjoy shooting. If I then liked it, I would get a more expensive one, or build one from an nice kit. I do a lot of small game hunting, and think a small bore muzzleloader would and to the fun.
    Thanks again, I'll keep looking

I have a flint dixie gun works delux cub in 36 cal.
It was used in a LGS I got for $250
As far as kits go, it went together pretty easy I thought

I wish I could come across a deal like that, I would have been all over it.
How does your shoot? Is it a overall nice looking rifle?

    Here was the thread.
I'm not a GREAT builder but I was happy with it.
I have only shot it offhand so I don't know how it REALLY shoots.
I had tweeked down the 2nd trigger pull after I shot it the 2nd time. I think I took about 5 shots and hit paper @ 25 yards. I do remember thinking I could hit a rabbit with it. I also remember I needed to bring my brass hammer to drift the rear sight next time I shoot it.
