This was forwarded along to me but I don't know much about it other than it's an effort to have all legal firearms owners gather at their local ranges and fire a shot at 12 Noon EST on April 19, 2014.

I understand that some ranges go a little further and read off names of 13 Americans killed at Lexington and Concord and fire a shot after each name.

    I'm trying to learn more.

So long as you keep it legal, no sense giving the anti-gun-nuts any fuel to use against us.

Sounds like fun, but what would Al Gore think of this?

And what's up with this one shot stuff?

So.... I'm guessing that it will be at 1pm for us MDers since we are now on EDT.

    Egh....

Don't buy gas on Tuesday, write your legislators, etc. etc.

    Nothing works.
Noticed that too, did you? :sad20:

We simply MUST try something different, more dramatic, and SOON. I think I'm going to start saving bottle caps and/or pull-top tabs for freedom...

If you want real change, how about becoming informed on jury nullification, joining with the liberty movement, and spending your time and money to get liberty-minded candidates elected to office. It is time to stop wasting effort on things that make you feel good and accomplish nothing.

Any time you assemble gun-rights advocates together, good things are likely to come from it.

If you think your ideas work better, redouble your efforts instead of condemning what others do. Maybe show up and talk about your ideas?

It would be better to just buy a few less boxes of ammo and donate that money to the NRA instead of going to the range and having a fun day of “protest”.

Now an NRA money bomb day. That would be something actually news worthy.
