This is my first election in MoCo, and I thought I was in Van Hollen's district. Just checked, and it seems I'm in Donna Edwards' district. It's pretty obviously a victim of gerrymandering.

All the more reason to vote ... not only for your candidate, but to reverse the gerrymandered districts as part of the referendum process. But, be careful. They worded the ballot funny ...

Md. redistricting ballot measure taken to court again

Look for a PR campaign like the one going on for Question 7 (Casinos) since it looks like the Dems will lose this one in court AGAIN.

Are you sure you are in "Edwards" district? Most of Montgomery is in Bartlett, and Van Hollen after the changes.

Heard him today on the Hannity show on the way home from work. Very well spoken guy. Gives me hope that one day Maryland might wake up.

We need more folks like him running for office here.

He speaks pretty well, but Maryland is a highly diverse state which is highly libtarded. Bongino has over 400k but with Palin endorsing him he only got conservatives to like him...but she didn't even know how to pronounce his name so that is not good. I wish him luck but I suspect Cardin will wipe him out. The Sobhani man is placing cable tv ads in Dc and Baltimore markets. He will have tons of exposure but I still suspect Cardin as the winner.

Unfortunately, he's a huge longshot but he is clearly pro-2A:

I drove to this wine festival in Carroll County MD this weekend and all I saw were signs for Bongino. I even saw my first Romeny signs.

I don't even know who he is running against, but I have not seen signs and I drive a lot around 95.

It is never a long shot. He'll get 40% of the vote at least, but it depends how people feel. I hope things work out. We'll need him in the Senate to stop UN treaties.

YEah you really have to come away from the city's before you start seeing those signs. There is a Romney campaign location on rt140 just up from Lenstoler chevy but there is a O-Bummer place on rt27 like right across from Johansons. Maby we should Picket in front of it before our Carroll County Meet Up. :innocent0

Have you looked at http://mdelect.net? It allows you to type in your actual address and provides the complete representation listing (local and federal).

I had to type my full address at the first one due to my zip code being split. I got the same Edwards results at the link you provided.

You gotta wonder if this confusion is intentional. No, actually, I don't wonder at all.

I had to type in my entire address also in order to get the correct representatives for my area. It doesn't differentiate the plus 4 zip code from the regular zip code.

The GOP as a rule doesn't put money into the state of MD. Only time they have ever was in 2006. Since it was a reelection companion and they though steel might have a shot.

Outside of a few thousand dollar here and there basically so they can say they gave something the GOP doesn't put money into the state.

    Thanks

The NRA isn't helping either. In the latest American Rifleman "Clear Choices" starting on page 98 they talk about key races and the US Senate. He is not even mentioned.

It's a long shot, but it is worth a shot. Heck with the ruling this year, you would think that the NRA would see the ray of hope and make an effort.

HA silly human the NRA doesn't care about Maryland....Which is funny because several gun/hunting clubs require nra membership:shrug:
