Let me re phrase. Is it still legal to rent a cnc machine to finish a lower? I'm sorry that was a stupid question.

Move out of state, and finish it up there, or continue to look at an 80% lower because you can not legally finish it in the state of Maryland since the initiation of sb281

The Maryland State Police has Troopers that will explain how to machine one out. They also give free room and board with meals when you take them up on this special offer.

Yes. But I suggest you don't.

Step 1: Put 80% Lower on the Drill Press

Step 2: Insert Metal Bit

Step 3: Lay head on top of 80% lower

Step 4: Drill bit into your head

Question answered repeatedly....it is not legal to machine an 80% lower in the state of MD post-October 1, 2013.
