Breast Cancer Charities and Anti-Gun Group Links?

Is there any link between breast cancer charities and anti-gun groups?

I thought I read Susan G Komen fund (pink ribbon) regularly awards grants to Planned Parenthood.

As noble as fighting breast cancer is, I’d rather not support Mad Moms in any way.

There is a yearly fundraiser at my local club, for the benefit of a local hospital. I won a $250 dollar Yeti cooler two years ago. I usually buy a shirt for my wife to wear around the house, it's a good cause, I don't see them as anti, at least not this group.

An in-depth examination of Komen shows disbursements and support for causes that should concern many conservatives, particularly its long-standing relationships with organizations that promote and perform abortions. In 2012, the organization faced a steady stream of criticism for their connections to Planned Parenthood. In response, Komen announced the cessation of funding grants to Planned Parenthood, and the wrath of abortion advocates such as NARAL was overwhelming. Unfortunately, Komen bowed to the pressure of the abortion provider just days later and continued to allow its affiliates to fund Planned Parenthood programs through grants.

Not as well known, but just as troubling of a connection is with the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA), whose global parent organization has specifically urged world governments to “broaden legal ground for permitted and safe abortions.” Furthermore, the YWCA is also a member of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, a gun control advocacy group that promotes an anti-2nd Amendment agenda.

So,.... Susan G Komen supports the YWCA and....THEY promote safe abortions and are anti-gun.

I'm still waiting to hear about the list of guys here whom have instructed their wives to do all the weekly shopping somewhere other than Wal-Mart.

Being that they're fairly anti and all.

If we truly used the method of boycotting every single company that is once removed from another company or. org who's anti..... we'd all need to become Amish.

I'm not sure adding $2 bucks to the regular price of a round of sporting clays and giving a donation to a local Hospital would be considered "throwing money", but, whatever you say.

I like breasts and don't like cancer, I'll continue to support the cause.

Let me know when you've instructed your wife to stop shopping at Walmart, being that they're anti.

And, let's all be sure to boycott the follow list also. With the number of doctors, accountants and lawyers who are members here it's gonna be quite the task......
