    OK here's some pics with the obligatory shoe. This is before doing up the stock which I haven't done yet. Want to get her out to the range a few times before I break her down to work the stock and foregrip.

    Holding the line in Baltimore
    Stamped receiver, but 50% thicker metal (1.5mm) than a standard AKM receiver and with beefier front end components. The bulge at the front is for the reinforced trunnion. The VEPR comes from Molot who supplied the Russian military with the light machine gun version of the AK, the RPK. This is a semi-auto version of that beefed-up design.

    Sexy. Gorgeous furniture.
    Been toying with the idea of the 54R version instead of the 39, but 39 is plentiful and I expensive.
