The innovative firearm known as the Boberg (XR9?) is now the intellectual property of Bond Arms.
They are re-releasing this pistol as the Bond Arms Bullpup.

Has anyone looked into getting this pistol on the Maryland roster?

Not to hijack but there is a great review on the design and how reloading during a CCW situation is very dangerous due to the design. Guy gives everything else about it a positive review and seems very happy but admits he wouldn't never CCW the gun.......which it's solely designed for.

ok ...I guess what I meant to say is that now that is is no longer a "boberg" firearm will the MSP require re-submission?

Didn't really think of that. I bet it would have to be submitted again. They probably would not need a sample though.

If I remember right. It was a pretty big deal getting it through the first time.

Member here has one and it is a piece of crap. At least it was 2 years ago when I shot it.

Its probably one of the original Boberg pistols that had a lot of issues.

I had the chance to sit down with Gordon Bond, the owner of Bond Firearms at the Big 3 East event about a year ago and he he explained to me in detail how Bond was comitted to fixing the Boberg issues.

The few that i shot at the show ran flawless.

Scary thing about it for me is how close the trigger/guard/your fingers are to the front of the barrel. Not much room for error.

Interesting design but the reality is that you only save a half inch of length vs a standard design. I would be concerned that there is a very limited selection of holsters for CCW.
