Following the death of MD Sen. Wayne Norman (Cecil-Harford) 11 days ago, Governor Hogan has named his widow, Linda, to serve out the remainder of his term.
Before his death, Sen. Norman filed for re-election and was a shoe-in, owing to the fact that he did not have a Republican primary opponent, nor did he have a Democrat signed up to oppose him in the General Election.
That was a reflection of just how well he served ALL the voters of his district.
