I think Aaron Eckhart would be pretty good. Liked him in I, Frankenstein and Battle, Los Angeles. I think he would be good to do the main role (Scot Harvath)in one of Brad Thor's books. Or Gerard Butler.

Remember, in the last movie, Harry switched to a 44 AutoMag.

And they are going back into production.

The essential elements are: A gun that is too big to be practical; an actor who always plays the same character no matter the movie; a major city currently known for post-industrial blight.

I've never seen Liev Schreiber give a bad performance in anything he's ever done.

Once he gets done with his Bond tour of duty...how about Daniel Craig? He can definitely portray the required amount of toughness with some cruelty. I'd also suggest Liam Neeson but he's in his 60's plus being very anti-gun even though his use of them in film has made him very wealthy.

Interesting thread, I’ll join, I agree with Timothy Olyphant cuz I miss Raylin and now have to watch him play the role in Clarita Diet, Baltimore, cuz I work in the hood 4 days a week and get a kick out of watching the area on Netflix dope, lastly character should build his own guns, bombs, knifes to show that the stupid laws don’t stop crazy people from being crazy...mic dropped.

If that movie was made today, an Actress would play the part (PC rules):

    1. Gina Carano or
    2. Milla Jovavich

Would take place in New Orleans and there would be a lot of Drag Queens cast as extras.

I would happily watch Gina Carano do just about anything  I've only seen bits and pieces of her movies, but she seems pretty badass.

I don't know how much you were joking, but I think she could pull it off.:party29:

Scott Eastwood by far for the role. Have him attending his dad's funeral and have the model past down to him and have him carry a new model M&P 9mm as his gun of choice. Yeah it's blasphemy but could have some flashbacks with him and the old man about power vs capacity. City would remain SF.
