Hello! From Pasadena

Hello All,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Grew up in MD and moved to PA while attending school....now I'm back. Always hard to know what freedom feels like and have it taken away. :sad20:

Anyways, it is nice to be around like minded folk so I joined the MdShooters community. I try to attend most gun shows, and I know a lot of you do as well. Anyone going to Frederick on Saturday morning? Maryland Rifle Club/AGC member. Spend most of my Sundays there. Usually at the Barnes Range. Looking for a new 7.62x51 for the 200 yard.

Trying to expand my horizons in the firearms world. Should be getting my C&R in the mail soon, and also looking to get into black powder pistols a bit. Should be fun.

Good to see others from the area on here!

I think the biggest news we have today is the opening of the newest Wally World in MD. I plan on stopping by to see if they stock ammo.

I'm hoping new = good selection.

Mark75H, I decided to skip on Wally World for tonight so no report. It is something I hope to check out before the weekend though.

Anyone from Pasadena a member at Stoney Creek? It would be convenient, but AGC just feels like home.

I'm FROM Pasadena (near Severna Park), but currently live in Crownsville. Been a member of Stoney Creek since the early 80's and on the Hunter's Ed team since the early 90's. Nice ranges overall, but lots of restrictions that make it less fun than it used to be. I shoot there periodically but also shoot on friends property and occasionally at Delmarva for Sporting Clays or rifle or PG County for clays (skeet and trap other nights besides Thursdays).

SXS, I have been to PG a few times and really enjoyed it. That was my first time shooting a real round of sporting clays. Had a blast! As for Stoney Creek, I was worried about restrictions there with the neighborhood and all.

As a side note, just dropped off a rifle at Scott's the other day. Nice looking shop! That was my first time in, and will certainly be back.
