no surgery is without risk. May the good Lord watch over you, guide the surgeons hands and clear the mind of the anesthesiologist of all problems except for the patient before them.

I'm back home and online. Surgery successful, next up chemo starting on 2/9.
Had to stay a day longer until the plumbing worked properly, but now it's functioning too well and I need to buy stock in Renuzit air freshener.
Read MDS prayer postings with TapsTalk and they gave me strength to get up everyday and make laps around the 5th floor surgical unit at AAMC to keep the gut gas moving. If you're familiar with the resection procedure, you know what I'm talking about.
Glad to be back online and feeling the love.
