    While I don't agree that everyone has the right to sue if the police don't arrive, or don't arrive on time, it certainly makes no sense to also deny you the right to defend yourself as best you can.

    These kinds of quotes don't reassure me:

    "More significantly, a special relationship is not established when a 911 employee assures a caller that the police are on the way or to wait for the police," the judge wrote.
