Per the NRAILA website, the Utah permit is being dropped because Utah does nor require live fire. Was live fire required for the Utah class recently held here?
The FLA permit is being dropped because it's now valid for 7 years instead 5 like the Nevada permit. THAT seems really rediculous.

Do they offer an out of state permit?
Edit:
Just called and they said that they will issue an out of state concealed carry. Just need to fill out the paperwork and have a Nevada instructor sign off after you shoot. Guess it's better than nothing.

BTW - 2 years ago, the class I took in MD for the Utah permit required live fire.

Totally lame.
My course required live fire using both a revolver and semi-auto. Dropping FL over their permit's duration is hard to rationalize.

I got my permit before the thing was made 7 years. This is just nonsense.
