ATTENDEES NEEDED AT WWII FUNERAL!!
F3 (Fireman 3rd Class) John Lindsley, USN, was killed in action on Dec 7, 1941, at Pearl Harbor. He was one of the crew members of the USS Oklahoma.
His remains were positively identified by DPAA in Hawaii, and he has now been repatriated to the US.
His only surviving relatives are nieces, and extended family, which is a very small number. None of the surviving family knew this Sailor, as they were all born after his death.
His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, Oct 25, 2016, at 12:45 PM, at Old Post Chapel, Ft. Myer, Virginia, followed by interment in Arlington National Cemetery, with Full Military Honors.
