Kind of an odd question, but for those who don't know, 10 oz. beers are a Saint Mary's tradition. In Calvert for the weekend. Anyone know of any local stores around the area that sell tennies?

The BP station in Dunkirk always sold them. Would always piss me off when I was younger. Would grab a 12 pack and then later realize they were 10 oz beers.

Across the bridge into California Md....every liquor store sells 10oz Bud, Coors, and a couple of others that try to copy Bud. If buy chance you have a boat and you are in the middle of Calvert next to the river. A trip across the river to Seabreeze and Sandgates will certainly fill your order. Not sure if Stoney's Brooms Island sold it or not.

If I remember correctly, Miller Pony's were only 7 ounces, there were also Rolling Rock Pony's and a few others, I remember Mickey's wide mouths in the little green bottle were pretty good.

My grandfathers quote "Those 7 ounce ponies are barely worth opening"

He was already over in Calvert. Those guys are only allowed outside of the "County" once or twice a year! If he drove back across the bridge to get beer on the St Mary's side he would have used up all of his "passes" for the whole year!

Wait a sec ... You rather have less beer?

It's like having just a piece of bacon during breakfast meals. Dafaq.

    long live 10oz beers!

That's all we drink when we are out on the water on the Eastern Shore. I think Anglers by the bay bridge has them on this side of the bay, but pretty much most places on the shore sell 10oz Bud, Bud light and Coors light.

I worked at the Crab Claw in St Michaels when I was in high school and all the crabbers drank were 10oz Buds.

I have heard of this before but what is the logic/reasoning behind it? Is it done anywhere else? It seems that this is quite the niche market for a company like Budweiser to cater to. Seems a little expensive too. I can get 3x the amount +2 oz in each can for 5 more bucks
