In MD, you don't have enough money to buy one. Seriously though, outside of MD, you can get them between 10-15 bucks... less sometimes.

this means all standard double-stack ak mags will work in the gun
surplus/combloc mags can be had for $10 from many sites...buy as many as your heart desires. hopefully though, you know someone out of state that you can ship them to if the vendor will not disassemble them.

I bought my SLR-106FR (5.56x45mm NATO) over a 5.45x39mm AK partly because a salesperson at a gun shop told me 5.45 would be hard to find. Obviously, I had never been to a gun show or purchased rifle ammo before... because 5.45 is not hard to find and is REALLY FREAKING CHEAP.
I'm happy with the 106, but I still want a 5.45 AK in my collection.
I wasn't aware there was any difference between the Bulgarian waffle mags and regular steel ones. What differences have you noticed?
