Can someone tell me what the (not sure of the correct terminology) tension weight of an OEM recoil spring is for a G17? I’ve seen 11, 13, 15, and 17 pound springs but I’m not sure about factory weight.

Current production factory Glock springs are 16 pounds. Early, non-captive versions of the 17 and 17L have recoil springs of 19 pounds.

That said many people find that to be a bit oversprung. My ammo is at a 132,000 power factor for competition so I'm running a Ismi 13lb spring, or a 13lb spring with 2.5 coild cut off depending on the recoil impulse I'm looking for.
