How long does a 77R stay in the system if you don't initially purchase a gun?

My wife and I got our HQLs. We both completed the 77R. She bought a gun yesterday. (I won't be in town to pick up the gun). What happens to my 77R if I don't purchase a gun in my name for some length of time.

I believe you have 6 months to use it before it is deleted from the system.

One other note, by law, you have to complete the transaction in 90 days from when you purchase the gun.

The application ID/PIN expire 90 days from your submission if it is not used. Just what knastera said.

I got to go through the whole 77R form online yesterday for my new purchase...the Glock 17 Gen 4 Summer Edition. This is the first time making a purchase with all the new online stuff and I gotta tell ya...it sure makes things far easier than those infernal antiquated multi-layer forms (press HARD with the pen please!). I'm kinda shocked that MD would do something like this, which makes it easier for us firearm purchasers. I guess they did it to make things easier for THEM, with no regard for us...as always.
