Been saving up scrap pressure treated lumber to build a bench.
Finally had enough to get it done. My design worked out OK, I just made one error. The seat was 2" to low so I had to add an extra 2x4.

When I made my bench I had in mind the various folks that come down to our farm, they range from kids to large adults, left and right hand dominance.

The seat adjust up and down as well as back and forth, all locking in place with "T bolts" on two sides (no wiggle).

Most of it is steel but the top is wood.

A shade/rain cover helps keep the top in good shape and is nice on hot days.
