I decided to Rit Dye my Glock 19X - ended up not being a fan of the FDE so dyed it black. Wow, if you want to dye your polymer frame a different color l, then Rit Dye is the way to go!

    How long did it take?

    Q

    20 minutes

    1. Boil a pot of water
2 while water is coming up to boil, degrease the frame
    3. Add liquid rit dye stir turn heat to medium
4 lower the frame in the pot and use tongs to swish it around and flip it
5 after 20 minutes take it out, rinse it in cold water and dry
    6 reassemble and it’s done.

Did you detail strip the frame, or just plop it all in?

I've been thinking about doing this to the stock of my Ruger Ranch. However I need ideas for a pot or container that would hold a rifle stock that I can boil water in that doesn't cost too much.
    Thanks for the tutorial!
