    its funny because in the army if the BCG can't stand up on the face of the bolt under its own weight without sliding down then its deadlined for repair. doesn't even take a cracked or missing ring for that test to fail.

    That is the standard test. If the bcg slides down, time for new rings.:thumbsup:

    That makes me wonder if mine may be slightly overgassed?

    I think I've only put 900 rounds through this one, but it did seem to be shooting a little soft, and I thought it was just my imagination.
    That seems like a pretty low round count to toast a set of gas rings. There are several factors besides overgassing that can cause this as well, but that is certainly one of em!

    I did have several instances of the BCG getting jammed due to some junk Freedom Munitions REman ammo popping primers out randomly. I wonder if that helped wear faster?
