I obtained my PA license yesterday and was amazed at the speed in which my rights were recognized! I've waited longer for Chinese carry out than it took for the permit to be handed over. 13 minutes and I was card carrying!

When I got my PA permit several years ago, I had put a cigarette in the ash tray when I walked into the court house. When I walked out of the court house (with my permit) my cigarette was still burning. Took less than 5 minutes to be photographed, card laminated, and permit issued.

I had a thread on this a month or so ago, I think it was like 21 minutes including walking to and from my car.

Unreal how shitty and ridiculous Maryland is.

Too bad they won't make an exception for MD residents, since they know that we (most of us, at least) can't get permits here.

If you own property in Pa and not a resident, since I don't have CCW from MD, can I obtain one in PA?

That is a negative, I tried. I own property and pay both taxes and was told no, but if I had a Maryland ccw permit since my residence is in Maryland I could.
There is what they call a sportsmans permit that is obtainable I believe.
