    Oh yes.... RPR in .308.

What height rings have you guys been running on these. I have a Vortex Viper 6-20x44 that I want to mount but can't decide if medium rings will cut it, or if I will have to go with high rings.

Since this appears to be the club RPR thread, might as well post mine.

Both of those rifles are things of functional beauty. Don't get me wrong, I still love walnut and blued metal, but dang - those are just flat out cool!

I just shot my RPR today. I absolutely hate the factory stock. For me I just can't get comfortable with it. Fought it the entire time I was at the range.

Suppose a Magpul PRS is in order for it.

There is an app for the android phone. It is called range buddy. I use it and if I knew how to post images I would.

Rifle used was a Kelbly Atlas 308 with a 26 inch Krieger barrel.
    Post picture of rifle later.

Threw an A2 stock on my RPR until my Magpul PRS gets here. I like a straight stock on it a lot more then the factory stock.

Bossman, did you go with medium or high rings?

They are high Warne rings. No way the mediums would fit. The scope has a 40mm bell and I can't even squeeze the scope cover in between the bell and the rail.

I'm not sure what I am going to do when I finally mount my Vortex with a 44mm bell.

Update for mine. Finally got a scope. Now I just need to get it out and dialed in. Nothing fancy, Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x44 on Leupold high rings.
