A few months ago I picked up a Hatsan Flash QE PCP .22cal.
I have put this rifle through normal paces of shooting.
I am surprised at its performance.
It is an absolute hammer at over 900 FPS and exceedingly accurate.
Magazine is a little wonky at first.
It is almost backwards from the others I've had like it.
Once you get it loaded up, I had no issues and it fed without a single jam.
The report is not bad, I shoot in my basement.
The only complaint is it hits the metal trap hard, I guess that is not really a complaint...

I've had a few other weapons from Turkey and all were of very good quality.
Is it as nice as an Anschutz or Weirauch?
No but, for the money, it is a great value for a PCP.
No paid endorsement on my part just sharing a personal experience.
I don't use a picture hosting website, so no pictures.

    Cheers!

Nice. I have owned several Turkish made firearms and air guns and, I agree, they are a good deal for the money. The biggest bitch was getting replacement parts. Since Hatsan has such a following, I doubt you will have that problem.

I've looked at Hatsan. I think they do offer a good bang for the buck. I have a Gamo Urban that I like. I was having trouble get a part for it but once I found out it was a BSA rifle and started searching under that too, I found the part. Had to get it shipped from the UK, but not a terrible shipping cost.

Vic, glad you found the part. One thing I have done in the past is search ebayBritian and bought seals and stocks from them. Reasonable prices and shipping is about the same.
    Cheers!

Glad to hear. After my urban went into pieces I picked up a flash that was tuned and it’s an outstanding pesting rifle.

Keep us updated have you run a string over chrono. My buddy has a .22 flash running mid 750 stock. At that level it acts like a regulated gun

    Where they send me.
Normally, people shoot their chronies and that is the end of them. Did you order parts to fix yours or sending it out? Please keep us posted. Sorry for the thread drift.

It is a Pact Chronograph, I think it is either a sun screen issue or a loose connection on the exit wire plug into the chrony. It seems a little wonky, like the spring clip inside the plug is not catching. I'll take it apart and check it over with the volt meter. I don't think Pact repairs anything and she is an oldie, I think its a Model 1 honestly from their website.

It appears the Chrony must have the pellets pass lower than the middle of the target area. Once I dropped below the centerline it started to read. After all these years of not hitting with high power rifles, I managed to hit the reader cover, not once but 4 times with the Flash before it noticed it. No damage done to the optic reader only the plastic cover, lucky pucky. SO, a quick report on air arsenal:
    Crosman 2300T conversion A:489FPS 7.9gr
Crosman 2300T conversion A:563FPS alloy super lite
    Beeman HW100 A:930FPS 10.65gr
    Anschutz 8002s A:584FPS 7.9gr
    Flash .22 A:896FPS 13.4gr

You may need to use the diffusers to allow the electric eye to see the pellet. I use the Chrony with my pellet guns all the time but I use the diffuser with them. Also, remember a pellet is usually measured about three feet from the muzzle.

John from MD, what diffusers do you use? I have the opaque white originals and would be interested in something better for pellets. Agree, 3' seems to be the sweet spot to avoid the blast effect on the ol Pact #1 with air rifles and pistols.

I use the white opaque diffusers. I have never had good success and have wasted a few pellets trying to shoot over the Chrony with just the guide rods. When I used to shoot indoors, I made a light fixture that sat on top of the diffuser and it worked pretty well.

That is funny, I did the same thing. I made a light bar which hung over the diffusers, but was told the florescent light in the basement would cause errors even if I used incandescent bulbs. Knowing it has to be below the centerline, perhaps I will give the light bar another go in the basement range.

I used incandescent bulbs as florescent bulbs are actually arcing all the time.

If anyone is interested, I'm going to sell this without the scope for $200 without shipping. I'm in the Aberdeen area for pick up. Will ship but that will be extra.
Have fill probe, 2 magazine, original box. Essentially new PCP in perfect condition.

You know me too well John! I've been spending too much time with that crazy ol Anschutz believe it or not. I put that scope on it and I'm addicted to those 10m targets with the tiny dot. My goal is 10 shots single target cutting no line on the inner.
Thank you for your service; I hit 26yrs next month, seems like yesterday I was a skinny LT.
Will be remembering our fellow Veterans on Wednesday.
    Cheers!
