Keep it in mind if offering to another shooter. One reason I paid the price for a Ruger single ten was the bar. My kids have both at one time not completed the hammer cock, and noted the slip. I told them a real style gun would have fired, and this is another reason you always keep a gun pointed down range. Both my kids love the single action and are very adept now.
