DD Mk18 Pistol inbound-- it's like Christmas in July! Of course I'm going on a boat trip soon so ... :D So tell me--- what "accoutrements" do you like on your AR pistols?

I usually just go with a red dot and a hand stop. Keep it simple. Got some 20- round mags also for keeping it light and compact

Decent red dot, I really like vortex sparc ar and a hand stop. Keep it light, keep it effective. Some people like back up sights, which i understand. For a home defense gun, I'd save the $100 and use that towards more ammo for practicing.

Sounds like I'm mostly on the same page here. I have an EOTech xps2 on another AR that I thought might work out on this. Put an ACOG on the other AR. Definitely up for a can in short order. I like the idea of a hand-stop. What's the latest and greatest ATF has to say on an angled fore-grip like the Magpul AFG2? Oh the joy of outfitting one's 2A tools here in Maryland.

I vote the eotech. Can is a great idea too.

AFG is good to go. Vert is ok if over 26" OAL. Youll find multiple ways to measure. The safest way seems to be tube, to muzzle(no flash hider unless its pinned).
