Pre War 38/44 Outdoorsman Target 6 1/2 barrel, grips match the pistol. I thought I would never find one this nice.

Nice. I’ve got a standard M&P 2.0 and then an M&P Pro CORE WITH A Holosun on it.
    Also have a Gen 1 M&P which isn’t pictured.

Here are a couple of beauties. Left one is a 1947 K-22 Masterpiece (LERK). The other is a 586, no dash, from 1981

Here is an oldie, would love some input from S&W experts. 38 S&W (Short Colt?) I figured the camera might show more than my tired eyes can make out.

But, here’s a link to what you might be looking for in the information bank.

    And also…(possible ammunition information/source)

    Hope it helps.

Thanks, I had read up a little on the caliber but your links pushed me in the right direction = I frame
This gun was my step dads - dad's and he had tagged it Model 34 with a question mark.
It is NOT that, pushed me to model 33 and then pre 33 then ultimately no model number - just called Regulation Police
Made in USA stamp on frame puts it at from 1922-1928
    6 screw
I'll get a proper size flat tip when the sun comes up and pull off the grips where I should find a "rebated butt".
Still wondering about the 8CP on the back strap.

New Smith and Wesson M&P FPC (folding pistol carbine). Came with all the mags pictured except the extra long one (Promag). The two mags in the middle are factory S&W 23rd mags and they store in the stock of the carbine. Added the Sig red dot and Modlite. Also came with a nice carrying bag that you can strap the gun into and has velcro pockets on the other side. Barrel is 16" so no NFA bullcrap. It folds to about 16.5" and is pretty handy. Shooting it next week.

Was in a local pawn shop recently...everything in the store was 25% off...including firearms. I spotted this S&W Model 52 .38 Special marked down. I made an offer 20% lower and they accepted it! I got it for a killer price and it's in beautiful condition. All I can guess why there was no counter-offer was either they had very little invested in it or it had been sitting on the shelf for too long and they wanted to get rid of it...a .38 Special wadcutter pistol isn't for everyone or that popular to most.

The Model 30 grip is one of the most comfortable ever made. I've never been a fan of slide mounted safeties but for this I made an exception.

Anything that looks like wear in the photo is reflections in the blue...great condition pistol. The pics don't do it justice.
