well I have now 2 CZ 457s , and must say I'm extremely impressed with them!!.love the 60 degree bolt swing. and accuracy is fantastic!! the trigger is adjustable on both take up and pull. I have both of mine in the AT-ONE stocks. and to me a real plus is cz has 25 round mags for them !! So for plinking it's great!! my daughter even shoots 1 of them more than her 10/22 . I'm looking at the 457 Varmint precision chassis model now. only ammo I have had issues feeding it are Eley hollow points. otherwise so far it has shot everything I have put into th magazine. unfortunately I dont have any targets to show. but will say I can consistently hit and knock off 12 and 20 gauge shot gun shells off the top of a fence at 45 yards. anyone else here have 1 they like?

I have 2 455's, an American in 22lr and a trainer in 22lr. I also managed to pick up a nib 452 American a few months ago. Love the CZ's. I've been wanting to get a 457 soon. Thinking about a lux in 22wmr. Glad you like yours.

I hear some great things about the 452s may have to add 1 to the collection at some point in time. I did order the 457 varmit precision chassis rifle today with a 16 inch barrel. also looking at the kadet kit for my shadow 2 . I do enjoy 22 plinking. I have a lot of older 22 rifles as well. need to drag them out to play more often.

I hear some great things on the MTR ! unfortunately the stock isnt very left handed friendly for myself. but most if not all of the other 457s don't seem to be a problem for a south paw lol

I went with the 457 Classic. It is beautiful and accurate, and the new changes were just the refinements I’ve been waiting for.

I had the CZ 455 Trainer for my rimfire competitions and loved it. My biggest complaint was the bolt handle and hitting my knuckles on the scope. I ended up going with a Masterpiece Arms BA-22 which is built on a CZ 457 action. My centerfire competition rifle is also an MPA so it was an easy choice to go with the MPA for my 22LR.

I was in my photo studio today practicing a technique called focus stacking. So I grabbed my 457 for a photo.

Here is a photo of my old CZ 455 trainer that I sold to help fund the rifle above.

CZs are great rifles! I'd like to get one in .375 H&H to loosen up my already grinding shoulder but my doc has advised against such a purchase...anti-gun doctors...jeez!

Yes, a suppressed 22 is the only way to go, especially with a bolt gun. They are stupid quiet.

run mine suppressed as well. have had great luck with the federal suppressor 45 grain copper rounds. the 2nd best for me has been the CCI semi auto quiet. but I have more to test out. couldn't get the Eley sonic hollow points to feed from the magazine for some reason. but the 10/22s ate it up with no problem?

I have a cz452 in .22mag. It's very accurate and it prefers Fed 50 grain.
The only thing is that crazy backwards safety, pull to release.

the cz 457 fixes the safety to a push to release. a friend has the semi 512 in 22 magnum and loves it !!
