All MD laws apply. It’s gotta be HBAR.

You can do any barrel profile on a pistol.

I second that good call by the Doc !

Mmmhmmm. Then it shouldn't matter about hbar , did you 77r it back then
    ?

Pistols - barrel profile doesn't matter. Sure as shit don't put a standard stock on it and a VFG .SBA3 it and your good just don't shoulder it.

If its a pistol (handgun) I beleive the barrel needs to be less then 16" (pinned and welded included) [ i could be wrong , mayhaps someone can correct me if I am wrong]

If its got any standard stock on it your now possibly looking at a NFA or Sbar if the barrel is less than 16".

    If its a rifle .300 blk , 223 , 556 all need to be hbar .

So now I'll say " you best be having that bill of sale that says your a grandfather!"don't get caught by the ATF with your pants down.

Why would one fill a form out for an 80%?

There's nothing about this thread that makes any sense to me. Am I missing the point? Is there a point?
