AK47-P Build Question

Is this a legal approach for building an 7.62x39 pistol?

1. Buy this 80% Parts Kit
2. Add a pistol brace
3. Drill the holes
4. Add trigger

This kit has been ATF approved as a combination of firearms parts. Therefore it does not meet the definition of a firearm.

I would say any approach you take to build a pistol is fine. You could even assemble it with a standard rear trunnion and use one of those adapters to mount an AR buffer tube and a brace. You're building it yourself. Don't put a stock on it. Enjoy.

$824 , glad I built my AK' s back b4 kits got pricey. Legal in my opinion

I love this idea but it’s kinda daunting. You only get one shot! At least with an AR 80 if you F it up it’s only 40 bucks.

Then the Jig for this + bits is another $100
