This is trending in some 2A Farcebook groups. No Idea if it's legit, but figured I'd share in case it is. Anyone else seeing anything about this guy?

I seem to recall there was a vet who had a 30 rd mag in his stuff brought back from Iraq. He was flagged for a shotgun and they discovered the mag in a box he hadnt opened in years. He was in deep for that. But no stand off that I recall.

A report that he has been taken into custody, but here's a sample of what I've been following

Interesting. If this story is legit and all of this is over a piece of plastic, we've got some serious soul-searching to do as a country. I'm hoping there's more to the story...

Unfortunately if this gains any further traction, I suspect there will be additional bs about this man cooked up to make their actions seem more justifiable.

From what I'm gathering he had a falling out with his squeeze and she dropped a dime on his standard cap mag.

He put a call out for help and it was apparently on the way but he was taken into custody prior. This could have ended really ugly.

In messages shared on arfcom he states he was turned in by an army buddy for PTSD issues and the cops threatened his wife with removing their children to gain access to his firearms.

    Just following orders....

Facisctbook keeps removing the posts about it. Word is the police and media are putting out false information of him being in custody to deter and discourage militia and other help Enroute to him. Perfect example of a need for communications system between 2A people because this is how things are going to start going down I fear.

So this is a guy that has been red flagged or being sought on a ERPO because a former Army friend said he had PTSD? I would hope PTSD isn't on its own sufficient for an ERPO.

Or is there corroboration that this was actually precipitated by a 30-rd mag?
