Who’s going and where?

Stoked to be hitting the swamp near lewes this week! Boss says it place is infested! And the herd needs thinning.

Several good size bucks, some small, lots of does, and we have the only good row crops up.

Just gotta make 3 more days of work, a 5am, 8hr travel day with TSA.

I haven’t even got my license yet for Delaware or Maryland. Not sighted anything in either. Running way behind this year

Yes. Owner had a stack of crop damage tags. (Only good for antlerless deer)

Got a skin head. 2nd day. Morning.

1st day. Had a little buck walk over, Was wet and quiet. Playing solitaire and we looked up at each other. Busted at same time. Young and not very wary of people. Slow walked away, trying to figure out what I was.

I just couldn’t pull the trigger. He as a 6” spike. Let him go.

A couple good bucks were taken. Reminder that they call it buckshot for a reason. Deadly when used right. Delivers severe damage when parameters are correct.

Best part was the friends. Folks I’ve been hunting with for many years, one about 30. The rest between 20 and 10, and a couple new guys

also followed up on the fella who was injured in the “training incident” several months back. Prognosis not so good. There was a benefit event the first Saturday of the season, in lewes.
