They do set up a 300yrd steel target during the mason dixon event.
Its approved by the BOD. That event is low velocity all lead projectile.

Got a group of 5 going Saturday morning around 9AM to Tuscarora and then Thurmont Sunday morning.

LOL, was going to bring 14 yr old out to shoot Sunday AM, first rifles then pistols, thinking it wasn't going to be "full"... Let me know the time, wil ltry and be there

I don't have a membership. Tuscarora is open to public Saturday mornings. $5 a round for trap with no fees on top of it.

Our group has expanded. We actually have around 12 people now. Decided to just drive out to Bull Run and make a day out of it. Sorry! I will personally be there next Sunday. Large groups kind of kill the effectiveness of small ranges.

12?? Wow... rifle range is nice, but between your 12 rules only allow 3 shooters supervised by the member at a time, and I was bringing the 14 yr old.
Next sunday is IDPA shoot on the pistol range, I will be there most of the morning.

I'm still planning on being in Thurmont tomorrow morning. Probably won't get there until 11:00 or so though. Hopefully it won't be too crowded.

We left just before noon, shot the rifles then went to the pistol range... boys had fun with the ARs and then the para 1911, bersa 380, and ruger single six.... even though its a pita to load, they went through more 22 rounds then anything LOL
