Beautiful. Like the stainless bbl too.

Can also ask a question though? I see tons of folks with BUIS pinned under a scope. How useful is that? Do you have a QD scope mount? I get it for a SHTF gun, to pull out a multi-tool in an emergency and remove the scope/mount if damaged or malfunctioning to keep you operational. I have that same setup on 2 of my rigs, and will probably remove them or change to 45deg offset sights. I'm only now questioning the practicality of $100 worth of un-useable sights, I've done it myself and now I'm wondering why.

I do not have QD on that particular scope mount, however I do have an allen wrench that fits the scope mount inside of the pistol grip.

Just finished up a new PCC build, so far ran a few mags through it without issue, will see how it does in the next match. have a 16" 9mm forward-side charging FM products upper, QC10 Glock mag lower, 6.5oz buffer, BAD short throw selector, magpul furniture, the new Calvin Elite trigger, and topped it with an XPS2-0, came in at 7.5lbs with opic, without mag. Recoil is like a BB gun, and this trigger is AWESOME, smokes the hyperfire 24C and AR gold for shooting fast, the pull is stupid light at 24oz out of the box, but 0 creep short crisp break, and short really positive reset give it a good feel. With every match sanctioning body adding PCC divisions, it should be a lot of fun to run it. 20171026_155547.jpg

Finally finished my XM 177 (ish) build.

Big thanks to SCSG, who's lower I used, and who helped me assemble the upper.

The parts are.... a mishmash. Del Ton stopped doing A2 uppers, so I had to find my own.

    Here is the breakdown:

    -Lower (SCSG)
    -Lower Parts (CMMG)
-Lower buffer tube, stock and hand grip (Del-Ton)
    -Upper (RRA A2)
-Upper parts and Barrel Assembly (Del-Ton)
    -BCG (PSA)
    -Charging handle (BCM gf 4)

The upper and lower are TIGHT. NO movement what so ever.

Here are the pics.... Taking it out right now to test it!

I'd've gone with black plastics, but, otherwise, I hope she shoots as good as she looks. Keep us posted please.

I have wanted the green for a while. While not 100 % period accurate, I am left handed so a shell deflector was a must. I have an older period grip, but its black and this gun is green.

Shot it today, nice recoil impulse. The heavy buffer probably plays into that....

This is a 10.5 barrel with a 5.5 flash hider pinned and welded on the end.

I really like it, now just need to get it set for 50 yard zero. May get to play with it more this weekend. Depends on how much rain we get.

It's really nice. I do want a M16A2 clone from bushmaster but my FFL told me it has been banned in Maryland. How about yours?

Bushmaster's banned by name. Although it's not always 100% accurate, you can search the Maryland State Police Firearm Search list to see whether a given firearm's been deemed (by our betters) as too dangerous for law-abiding Marylanders to keep, bear, transport or use in a safe, legal manner.
