    Nice. How’s the trigger?

I’ve tried most of the reputable Glock triggers and prefer overwatch, this one and the 34 have minus connectors along with heavy springs. No mush, solid wall, clean break and reset. The few that I’ve allowed to shoot them were blown away by how good the triggers felt.

I ordered some of the Cain stuff to try out since it’s cheap and a local business. The base pads are pretty nice and the 3D printing process gives them some decent texture. They offer basepads for the Magpul Glock mags which I prefer for range use. They don’t really compare in quality to my Taran Tacticals, but function just as well. I’m not even sure the manufacturing quality of the Taran tacticals are a benefit on something like a magazine where it’s going to get tossed around and dropped in gravel. The Tarans’s will show damage from that abuse and I suspect the Cain’s won’t. Sure they aren’t as tacticool for pictures so if that appeals to you spend the 40$ a pop.

Now the magwells are a different story. The P80c magwell is a really good fit and well designed peice. It secures over the front lip and locks down nicely. The inside fit is smooth and it funnels mags well. The Glock well is the piece I had the most issue with. The glock frame doesn’t have a front lip to lock the magwell in and the supplie set screw is small allowing the front of the magwell to flex quite a bit. I won’t be using this and if anyone wants it, it’s free to a good home.

I asked Cain arms to warranty replace my magwell. It's an early one I guess. I'm not happy if they are making them better now. Mine moves like an 1/8" when I grip it.

Beautiful builds! How do they shoot?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve never had any issues after the first build I did were the rails didn’t seat right, after a little grinding it ran like a clock. I’ve done a good bit of these and out of these 3, all the parts except for the coyote lower, and p80 slide have functioned perfectly on other builds. These 3 haven’t been fired as they are as of yet, the fde has a rose tin true barrel coming for it to finish it off.

Dare I say I have became a professional with these at this point and can have one together from start to finish in less then 30mins.

I finished mine about a month ago. Put 200 rounds through it today. 1 failure to feed. Racked it and it fed.
I'm super happy with the results.

I just finished the PF940SC I picked up today from hdatontodo . Just waiting for the lower parts kit I ordered from www.grangertactical.com to show up. Only paid $43 shipped for the kit. By far the best price I've come across.

Can the P80 frames be dyed with that as well?

Yes they can. A lot of people were dying the Robin Egg Blue frames as they were available a few months ago and some have done the White as well. There are lots of pictures on subreddits like /GlockMod and a few others. The white should turn out nicely compared to the colored mags or Robin Egg Blue frames.

Anyone have a g17 OEM stripped slide they want to sell? I have all the internal parts.

Edit: found issue with the slide I had. Not the slide but plastic pin for rear rail broke. Just ordered titanium pins.

I have one I was thinking of selling if you still need it. It’s complete though. I was thinking about going with an Advantage Arms .22LR conversion instead.
