Sure thing, putting the little one to bed in a few moments, then daddy can play.

I wish someone would make a slightly-extended Glock mag release. The factory Glock extended release is way too long for these guns, but I wish I had just a touch more length for more leverage than the non-extended one. Goldilocks and all that.
I have modified (ground down) a couple of extended mag releases, but in the end I have gone with the standard mag release and it works well for me. There are some of the extended ones that came out better than others after shortening them, due to the variances in the moulding of the ones that I had to work with. One had a cavity in it's 'sweet spot' that made it look a little funky, but it worked great! In the end I realized I was shortening them to about what a factory standard mag release is lengthwise...

    For your viewing pleasure...

PSA: I had originally only bought the vickers tango down because I wanted the original build to be completely vickers but once I compared it to the OEM, all of my p80 builds now wear vickers mag release and slide stops.

That really looks like what I need. Just a LITTLE longer than the OEM stock. The other annoying thing about the OEM extended is that it's just brutal for support-hand shooting... digs into the meat of your hand.

I’ve never noticed with the vickers nor had any signs of touching it with my support hand.

    I love this.
Believe it or not, it actually does a couple things better than the Geissele, such as letting you mount an optic QD to get your sights back if your optic fails (it has a sight channel for suppressor sights). I think it's also a little lower.

I ordered a Vortex Venom for my 940C. It's an 80percentglock slide with the rmr cut. Will I need a plate/adapter? I'm not home so I can't check the stuff that came with it.

It is flat-out not going to fit in an RMR cut, as it is longer than an RMR and has different mounting hole locations. Made the same mistake with an FF3 and a Brownells slide. Your only option to make it happen is to buy a cover plate (I sell them, incidentally) and then get a rear dovetail mount... it's not a great option, IMHO.

I actually ordered the wrong one and was able to cancel it. Meant to order the Viper RD.

Viper's not going to fit, either. The only other optic that fits an RMR cut besides an RMR is the Holosun HS507C.

Incidentally, the Viper also kind of sucks for this application due to the rear locking screws being blocked by the rear sight.

It appears that I am the first to share a G150. It is destined to become a 9mm carbine once I put an upper assembly together. Received it as a gift and slapped in some spare parts. Can't beat the price. The first attempt did not work out as the take down pin hole was 1/32" too far to the rear of the receiver and would not attach properly to an upper. The replacement was within specs and fits perfectly. I have been very impressed with Polymer80's customer service. I am thinking of a Glock26 build when the budget allows.

I believe you are the first on this thread. That's nice to hear.

Thanks for this info. I truly might just leave it be for now.

A version 2.0 and a version 1.5 with a major grip reduction and covered with a piece of bicycle inner tube. Not long after I did it, the version 2.0 came out. I was surprised at how close they are.:party29:

Finally got my Fauxland Special PF940C to run reliably by using 124gr NATO. Has a lot of snap, but the compensator does the job of helping keep the muzzle down enough to not lose the dot. (Reminder, I used a reduced-power 15lb RSA, too.)
