    CZ-82 is C&R because of the polygonal rifling in the barrel. A museum curator signed off that it’s historically significant or something.

    I seriously think Gen 1 Glocks should be C&R as well. Striker fired polymer frame revolution!

    Ermm, no. It is because Czechoslovakia no longer exists. You’ve got the Czech Republic and Slovakia now.

    Cz82 was the service pistol for Czechoslovakia and that is why it is considered of historical significance and ATF signed off on it being C&R. Same deal with some of the Yugoslavian stuff on the list and a lot of other stuff on there that was made up through the 70s and 80s.

    But a reproduction of something on the C&R list doesn’t count as a C&R. Something made by another country even if the same time period doesn’t count except in a few rare cases.
