    Were they modified to use clips from M1 Garands? And the 10 bullets were useless without the case, powder, and primer:lol2:

    Probably used standard C96 clips.

    If you load a C-96 without clips you're prone to getting "Broomhandle Thumb" as there is no bolt holdback except for the magazine follower.

    I didn't know that. You'd think maybe after 10 or 20 thousand had been made someone would have thought to add a manual bolt hold open, at least.

    Well, I didn't know it either until I bought one and turned my thumb purplish. :lol:
