Yesterday I went to Elk Neck with my brother and two of his coworkers that never shot before. We took the normal line up for beginners, .22LR, 9MM, 5.56, all of which they loved and did very well with. We also took some stuff for ourselves, 12ga, 45acp, and .460 S&W( affectionately named "Thumper"). His two coworkers jumped at the chance to fire those as well! Especially the .460. Needless to say, the .460 stole the show! We all had a fun, safe, time and got two more people into firearms! We took a slow motion video of me firing the .460 and here's what made everyone smile the biggest.

What in the blue hell do you have that loaded with? Is it a short barreled revolver or is that much muzzle flash just standard for the round.

I use factory loaded Hornady Custom ammo with a 200gr bullet. That's actually the only brand/load I've ever shot out of this beast, so I have nothing else to compare it too. The revolver has about an 8.5" barrel. Here's a frame with a little less fire.

What gun? That first pic looks like you're shooting fire from your arms!

    That is really awesome.

I actually don't know how to do that. The video was taken with my iPhone and I'm not tech savvy enough to figure this out. The flame is so quick, it's only picked up in 3 frames.

You would have to post to youtube or something. YT woulds be the easiest.

Omg, I thought my Dan Wesson 44 magnum with the 6 inch magna ported bbl put out some flame. I can usually stop the firing on an indoor range. I use a 200 gr JHP Behind 26 gr of 296 but I don't think I can hold a candle to that flame. If you don't hit something you can set it on fire. :D

I've seen less fire out of an old black powder musket. That's one impressive picture.
