I know this was an issue when the HQL was new, but was wondering if it was still lingering. Do we know of any Maryland dealers that are still not selling to retired (I mean Blue ID, drawing a pension, not discharged with a DD-214) military without an HQL? Don't want to bother shopping with someone who wont sell to me.
Are any MD Dealers not recognizing Retired military as exempt from HQL?

Since the 77r process is on line, and the website recognizes Retired Mil ( & Retired LE) the FFL is less of gatekeeper role.
Yeah. Haven't purchased anything since that went online. Another new experience waiting for me.
